It takes plenty of aeration to unfold from tar and soy to dark fruit, lavender and sage aromas. The full-bodied palate is surprisingly light on its feet with crunchy, floral fruit, a balance of fresh acidity and grainy tannins and a long, perfumed finish. This pretty, expressive wine deserves a few more years in bottle to unwind.
