The 2022 Volnay Village comes from several parcels and is aged in 20% new oak. This is nicely composed with lifted black cherry, raspberry, and a hint of vanilla. The medium-bodied palate has pliant tannins, a pinch of bay leaf and white pepper infusing the black fruit with a slightly austere finish.
