The palate is lightly lush with a touch of glycerol—a Grand Cru comfort wine, if you will. Flavors of warm baking spices nestle into the long, sustained finish. This is the oldest parcel of the domaine, planted in 1936 (with a part of Champ Canet). No new oak used, there is a 350-L and a 228-L barrel here.
