The Story
Cool and somber aromas include those of plum, just turned earth and a whiff of the sauvage. There is a lovely sense of verve to the attractively textured middleweight flavors that conclude in a lingering and youthfully austere finale. This well-made effort could use better depth but there appears to be enough stuffing for that to progressively occur over the probable 5 to 8 years aging curve. Note that it could also be enjoyed young if you don't have the patience to wait.
