The Story
The 2023 Ribolla Bengier Vineyard is a pretty powerful wine. Today, the tannins are especially prominent. Dried orchard fruit, mint, spice and white pepper are all beautifully delineated. I would give this a few years in bottle as it is quite reticent today. Varietal character feels a bit hushed in 2023, but this is still quite attractive.
