The Story
Two indigenous grapes from the region of Ioannina in the northwest of mainland Greece come together for a savory, earthy wine filled with crunchy fruit. The varieties of Vlahiko and Bekari culminate in aromas of cigar box, red/black cherries, grippy plum and crushed flowers. Mediterranean herbs and wet soil are perfect with the soft mid palate and resounding tannins and acidity.
