Vietti has recently placed more emphasis on freshness in his Barberas, and this is particularly evident in La Crena - a wine that used to be very dark and heavy, but is now far from it. Clean, mineral notes prolong the lively finish. Give this wine a few years to develop the full range of its flavours. What a wine!
